A course sponsored and supported by the
Workers' Educational Association (Northern
District) in the UK
and accredited by North East Open College Network
(part of the National Open College Network).
It takes place at Wallsend Peoples
Centre on Tyneside
This site is permanently 'under construction'!
An explanation: This is the main index page for sites created by participants in the above course.
The intention is to provide a focus for the course itself and a showcase for the work produced by the students taking part. Each time the course is run new material should appear here... so please call back around once per academic term!
The course itself is directed towards part-time teachers in adult education and voluntary groups in the Tyneside area of the UK. It aims to give a broad-and-basic understanding of not just HTML editing, but also how sites can be designed for simplicity of use and low maintenance.
At present we do not have an on-line version of the course... so if you live outside of Tyneside your out of luck for the moment.
